Our Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Responsibility
Onsite Rental Group recognises our responsibility to help protect the planet. We are committed to minimising our company’s impact on the environment and are committed to even better performance, greater transparency and accountability into the future.
Our aim is to provide more transparent disclosure of the work we are doing in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas, particularly in six specific areas.
Our core objectives and progress towards achieving them are assessed regularly to ensure they align with our key targets surrounding six key Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) pillars that include:

GHG Emissions & Decarbonisation

Resource & Asset Efficiency & Water & Waste Management

Employee Safety & Wellbeing & Workplace Culture

Diversity & Inclusion

First Nations Engagement & Community Investment

Business Responsibility

Our developing roadmap aims to address greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and waste within our company as we continuously strive to enhance our environmental practices. A key goal is to achieve net-zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, starting with a commitment to a minimum 30% reduction in emissions, aligning with Sime’s emissions reduction target.
We also recognise the importance of fostering an inclusive and engaging environment where all team members feel valued, included, and empowered.

First Nations Engagement and Community Relations
Onsite acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands where we operate and pays respect to their Elders, past, present, and future.
In 2022, we commenced our formal reconciliation journey with our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which is a crucial step towards establishing respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Together, we are strengthening and developing key partnerships with First Nations people and communities, focused on education, awareness, and respect in alignment with our vision.
As we prepare for the next phase, the Innovate RAP, we have considered the question, “What is our Why?” Understanding our purpose is essential. This approach not only reflects our ethical and social responsibilities but also delivers tangible benefits for our business, including our values, commitments to future generations, corporate responsibility, and overall business advantages. Breaking down our “Why” has reinforced our ethical and social responsibilities within our RAP commitments, which is a vital part of our preparation for the next RAP phase, Innovate.
Together with our customers, suppliers, and team members, we actively support our communities. Whether it’s our employees volunteering their time, branches providing equipment, or our business leading fundraising campaigns, we take pride in equipping local community groups, grassroots sports teams, and schools with the needed resources. We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work.
