QMCA Innovation & Excellence Awards – Onsite Rental Group Celebrate QLD Contractors Excellence

Onsite Rental Group were once again proud sponsors of the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) Innovation Awards. The Association focuses on promoting innovation and collaboration within the industry to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve project value. Over 400 guests attended the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition centre on Friday 5 October to celebrate the achievements of the 17 finalists, each being recognised for their innovative approach to delivering outstanding major infrastructure projects across Queensland.

Scott Burke, Business Development Manager and Rohan Cook, Account Manager attended the luncheon on behalf of Onsite Rental Group. When asked about the importance of the awards, Rohan Cook commented, “The QMCA Innovation Awards played host to a plethora of major QLD/NT building companies, including Lendlease, CPB, John Holland, BDM, Acciona, & MacDowell to name but a few. The high calibre of award entries is testament to the drive and commitment you would expect from Queensland’s Major Contractors – it was inspiring to be part of the QMCA Innovation Awards.”

When asked about future plans in Queensland, Scott Burke said “Onsite are committed to Queensland. We enter the financial year with a strong and diversified asset portfolio, backed by targeted, localised investment strategies which ultimately bolster our local, regional and national presence. With over $40 billion budgeted for investment in Queensland’s infrastructure across the next four years, Onsite are proud to work alongside the Nation’s major contractors, designers and subcontractors to deliver project excellence, on-time and on-budget.”
