Onsite to the resuce – after hours support when you need it most 24/7

|

The need for rental equipment cannot always be predicted. In late October, the cruise ship “Maasdam” arrived in Darwin’s outer limits from Cairns with a window in urgent need of repair. It was close to midnight, and the ship was scheduled to depart to Komodo Island of Indonesia the following day.

The 1,076 passengers and 582 crew aboard the luxury vessel were spared any delay to their voyage after Onsite Darwin swiftly provided contractor Qube Ports with a Genie Z80 Articulated Boom Lift to facilitate repairs of the damaged window. The Genie Z80 boom lift comes with a platform that facilitates a working height of over 26 metres, and repairs were carried out after-hours without incident.
