Gas Plant Shutdown & Maintenance – Queensland

We understand that Turnarounds or Shutdowns are an essential part of an industrial organisation’s lifecycle. Regular maintenance ensures the reliability and performance of energy refineries, mining operations and other industrial focused facilities. However, despite the evident need for these types of works, any disruption to production – planned or unplanned – can be high risk, costly and complicated to oversee.

Upstream Production Solutions (UPS) engaged us to support them with the Gas Plant maintenance turnaround and shutdown program performed on Origin Energy Gas Compressor Stations. This shutdown involved a full maintenance program including safety valving and vessel inspections among other items.

Onsite have a long-running history of supporting key industries with their repair and maintenance requirements. During the 18-month maintenance shutdown campaign we provided specialist access and portable solutions including Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, Forklifts, Lighting Towers, Generators and Portable Building arrangements.

During the campaign we attended the site prior to moving each package, completed detailed safety inspections at each stage and offered expert advice as required to ensure a seamless transition to the next shutdown location.

Each site presented specific safety challenges which we worked closely with UPS in order to mitigate risks whether it came down to being inside explosion exclusion zones, rough/uneven terrain or working collaboratively with Origin Energy to ensure our equipment adhered to their strict site regulations regarding safety and induction processes.

Onsite are not just a rental equipment supplier, we pride ourselves on delivering dedicated rental management solutions and partnering with our customers. To find out more about how we can support your project requirements call your local branch today on 13 40 40.
