Cross River Rail construction is currently underway and Onsite has been engaged to establish a site to facilitate the large-scale infrastructure project.
The new transportation network will comprise a 10.2km rail line across Brisbane metropolitan and 5.9km of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD. It will also deliver new high-capacity underground stations at four Brisbane locations and upgrades at two existing stations.
In light of recent labour force increases, Onsite supplied the Cross River Rail project with five Portable Buildings, including a 6.0m x 3.0m toilet block with a 4,000 litre holding tank, and one 45kva generator with a 1,000 litre fuel cell.
Onsite was awarded the project largely due to our FirstOn™ Installation and Site Services offering. FirstOn™ delivers full installation and connection of Onsite’s rental products to existing services such as power, sewer, and water. Streamlining the site establishment process bolsters efficiency and helps to eliminate the logistical and administrative pains common to new site compounds.
Cross River Rail will ultimately provide a more reliable transport network for South East Queensland (SEQ), allowing more trains to operate more frequently across the entire SEQ railway network and connecting new roads and bus services.
