Onsite Rental Group acquires Prime Rentals, QLD

Onsite Rental Group Operations Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the acquisition of Queensland equipment hire business Prime Rentals Pty Ltd.

The acquisition forms part of a long legacy of growth for Onsite through strategic acquisition and organic market growth. Onsite Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Mike Foureur described the acquisition of Prime Rentals, which supplies plant and equipment to the mining, industrial and construction industries as “transformational”.

He said it would significantly strengthen Onsite’s capability in Queensland, delivering significant synergies to the company’s business operations, customer base and enhancing the asset profile, “giving us considerable flexibility to better serve our customers from our nimble national platform”.

“This acquisition is an exciting opportunity for us all. Prime Rentals has been carefully selected for their industry experience, innovation and nimble approach – and this is a great match with how Onsite works. The fusion of Prime Rentals and Onsite enables us to further invest in our fleet, provide an expanded suite of products to service customers’ needs and to pursue growth opportunities,” Foureur said.

“There are strong synergies between the two businesses. Prime Rentals customer base is complementary to Onsite’s and its fleet structure is closely aligned to our asset portfolio.”
